The project was implemented thanks to funding from the Fund for the Operation of Small Museums: Article 1, Paragraph 359, Law No. 160 of December 27, 2019, DM No. 451/2020 of MIC-Directorate General of Museums, amended by MIC Decree No. 62 of January 28, 2021.

The Core

The featured artifact in our museum, which was targeted for production in Pau’s chipping workshops during the Neolithic.

Not a tool but a semi-finished product from which to “peel off” chips and blades of predetermined shapes and sizes.
The cores of the Mount Arch workshops reached the overseas shores of the peninsula beginning in the second half of the fifth millennium BCE.
