How to get there from Cagliari
To reach the municipality of Pau from the city of Cagliari, one must drive along the E25 in the direction of Sassari, until km 56. At km 56 turn right in the direction of Ales, and drive along the SP46 Consortile road to Gonnostramatza. From here continue in the direction of Ales for 10 kilometers. From Ales take SS442 for less than 1 kilometer, then turn left towards Pau on SP 48 for 3.5 kilometers.

From Olbia airport, take the SS125 Dir south toward Nuoro. Continue on the SS125 Dir for about 100 km until you reach the junction for the SS131.Drive on the SS131 south toward Cagliari for about 40 km until you reach the exit for Abbasanta. Take the exit for Abbasanta and follow the signs for Pau. Once in Pau, follow the signs for the Obsidian Museum, which is located in the center of the town.

From Alghero airport, take the SS291 southeast toward Sassari.
