Mid-August at the Museum and the Obsidian Park
September 27, 2026
The event
On the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days, dedicated to the theme “Protecting Heritage. Renew, Resist, Reinvent,” the “Carlo Lugliè” Obsidian Museum in Pau offers a multisensory tour that invites visitors to discover obsidian through diverse, complementary, and inclusive experiences.
Color, luster, transparency, surfaces, and resonance will allow visitors to explore the characteristics of black stone through an experience in which sensory perception complements the narrative—and, at times, replaces it—to go “beyond words” and make room for direct perception.
The tour will continue along the Sa Scaba Crobina trail, in the archaeological area of the Obsidian Park, where the natural setting will allow visitors to rediscover the material within the landscape and expand on the insights and knowledge gained during the museum visit.
