Mid-August at the Museum and the Obsidian Park

An archaeological walk along the black trail of Sa Scaba Crobina, in the Obsidian Park, through the largest prehistoric flint-knapping site on Monte Arci. In conjunction with this, the initiative Not Just Obsidian: Raw Materials, Techniques, and Uses in Prehistory : A special guided tour of the Obsidian Museum, featuring an in-depth look at prehistoric stone materials, stoneworking techniques, and their uses, through the examination of geological samples, experimental replicas, and hands-on activities.

9:30 a.m.: Meet at the Obsidian Museum
9:45 a.m.: Travel to the Pau Obsidian Park (by your own means)
10:00 a.m.: Archaeological walk at Sa Scaba Crobina (duration: 60 minutes)
11:00 a.m.: Travel to the Obsidian Museum (by personal transportation)
11:30 a.m.: Special guided tour “Not Just Obsidian” (duration: 90 minutes)
11:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: traditional guided tours (duration: 60 minutes)

Tickets for guided tours of the Museum or the Obsidian Park cost €8.00 for adults and €6.00 for students and people with disabilities (€16.00/€12.00 for a combined Museum and Park tour).

The cost of the special “Non Solo Ossidiana” guided tour is €10.00 for adults and €8.00 for students and people with disabilities (€18.00/€14.00 for the special tour + park admission).
